The pcProx-USB Badge Reader reads employee promixity badges (125 KHz, HID), such as facility access control cards or employee authentication badges for computer or network use. There is no need to issue separate cards for use with XPressTools when an employee access control card system is already in place. This small durable read-only device can read with speed and accuracy, saving time and reducing errors during check-in and check-out transactions. Plugging into your computer's USB port, this compact reader is easy to install and use. In addition to being used with XPressTools, it can also be used with XpressEntry.

Telaeris offers modified scales that also incorporate a RFID tag reader in the
scale - allowing for simultaneous weighings and tag readings for items like tool
bags that have tags placed in their bases. Checking out weight-sensitive items
is quick and easy - the scale transmits the weight, the reader transmits the stock
number, and XPressTools can check the item out, without a single keyboard entry
or click of a mouse. The RFID tag reader utilizes a separate USB connection and
can also be used to write stock numbers to RFID tags. Modified scales may take

Signature Capture Pad:
For greater accountability in tool check-out and check-in transactions, XPressTools has the option to collect signatures from your users. When a user checks out an item, he or she can sign on the signature capture pad, just like when signing on a pad at a retailer for a credit card purchase. The image of the signature appears on the XPressTools workstation for the check-out operator to review and accept, and the signature image can be stored and also printed on a receipt for that transaction. Durable and compact, Topaz Signature Capture Pads come with a stylus, and connect to the XPressTools workstation via a USB connection.

If you print receipts with XPressTools, either for greater accountability or for the ability to quickly check in items checked out on one receipt, you can save paper and speed up printing times by using a thermal receipt printer instead of a standard letter-size printer.
Receipt printing with an Epson TM-T88IV thermal printer is fast, and receipts will automatically include an XPressCode for easy check-in or viewing of the transaction, and when signatures are required for transactions, a copy of the user's signature can also be included on the receipt. With a printed receipt cut by the printer, there's little chance of poorly torn receipts or wasted paper.
