XPressTools is a total solution for tool and consumable management. Telaeris provides all the components needed to get a customer operating at express speeds, based on what the customer needs, from simply software and some devices to a full free-standing tool-checkout cart to a web-based system monitoring inventory at multiple locations.
At the core of an
XPressTools workstation is a PC running the
XPressTools software
application. The application manages all the check out and check in
transactions and keeps a database of all the items, employees and activity.
Inventory attendants can quickly check items in and out to employees, and
inventory managers can easily view tool usage. With the desktop application,
inventory managers have peace of mind knowing where all their tools and
consumables are. In addition to easy transactions, XPressTools software
offers powerful management tools including custom reports, re-order alerts,
and tracking lost and damaged items.The XPressTools software can be used on its own, with just a keyboard and mouse for input, but to make tool checkouts happen at even faster speeds, other peripheral devices like a bar code scanner are needed. XPressTools recommended devices help minimize the time needed for check out or check in transactions, or help ensure responsibility for borrowed items. Telaeris can provide the right equipment to fit with an existing inventory identification system using bar codes or RFID tags, or can help upgrade to the ID system that best fits. Receipt printers and signature capture pads can help ensure that items are returned by promoting accountability and making checking in items a snap (with XPress Codes on receipts).
If tool cribs or other
inventory facilities need a complete workstation, the
XPressTools cart offers
the computer hardware and software, in a rugged mobile cart. The on-board
computer manages tool transactions, assisted by a customizable combination
of devices for expediting check outs and check ins. Carts can be configured
for additional features such as document scanning and photocopying or
providing a Wi-Fi hotspot.
With XPressTools deployed at multiple inventory locations, the
XPressTools Web Module
is a useful tool for easily viewing inventory levels and borrowing activity
across different warehouses. Knowing inventory levels can help an inventory
manager know when to simply transfer items from one location to another,
or when to re-order.The XPressTools system can be customized to fit any customer's needs in inventory manangement to help provide easy and fast transactions, clear inventory visibility and powerful management tools.
