XPressEntry Server

XPressEntry Desktop With the on-site server running the XPressEntry application, a site safety monitor can track:
  • current occupancy in any and all of the confined spaces
  • live activity updates in real time
  • all activity, easily searched and sorted by entrant, date, time, confined space or entryway
  • messages received from handheld devices
  • the list of authorized entrants, safety attendants and safety monitors

The on-site server receives information from all the handheld devices in operation. The safety monitor at the server can watch the changes to occupancy in real time, view older activity history, add new people to the list of authorized entrants, and edit information about the entrants, confined spaces or entryways.

What else is included with the XPressEntry server cart?
  • Mobile broadband Internet access allows connection to the XPressEntry web server
  • Multi-function printer/copier/scanner allows for printing of reports and on-site photocopying
  • Badge reader allows for easily adding new employees to the authorized entrant list
  • Battery back-up allows for uninterrupted use when electrical power is lost
  • Mobile cart is rugged enough for use in places where confined spaces are found, yet portable for re-deployment and storage

The XPressEntry cart during an incident:
When an incident requiring evacuation happens, the on-site cart provides several valuable functions. First, the safety monitor can view the occupancy and activity in real-time, knowing who has exited properly, and who is still unaccounted for. Second, because the cart has its own badge reader, the server can also serve as a muster point manager in a safe area. All entrants and safety attendants can check in to the muster point, and XPressEntry tracks everyone's safe evacuation. And since the cart and the wireless network gear have battery back-up, even if the power is temporarily disconnected to the area, the system will still function, allowing for critical safety monitoring action to take place.
