Material Tracker web service for managing the procurement cycle

Track every step of the purchasing process from anywhere with this easy-to-use purchasing management application.

Material Tracker creates visibility into the purchasing process:

• Internal customers can submit direct requests for new or reordered items.
• Purchasing staff is alerted to new requests, and can approve them online.
• Vendors can be notified by email of requests and can submit quotes online.
• Purchasing staff can track vendor quotes and reply with purchase orders.
• Receiving staff can verify when item are received and inspected.
• End customers are notified of arrival and can request delivery of items.
• Accounting is alerted to the need for payment.
• Purchasing staff can close the order when payment has been verified.

Throughout the process, all records and record changes are maintained and tracked for easy review and updating in the Material Tracker database.

Use Material Tracker's reports to help track orders - know when orders are due to arrive, are overdue, and receive useful statistics for analyzing expenditures by project, vendor or timeframe.

Material Tracker can be integrated with XPressTools Web Module to allow internal customers to either request items to be purchased, or to place an order from the company's on-hand inventory.

Administrators can set up users with different roles to limit actions and information that are relevant to that user role:

• Purchasing staff manage the entire process, and are alerted to when an item needs their attention.
• Customers can create and track their requests to know the status of their orders.
• Receiving staff can view active purchase orders and mark items as received, stored, and issued.
• Outside vendors can submit quotes.
